3 and 4 inch Racks are here!!

Tired of your old racks looking tattered and scabbed together?

Do you question your racks’ integrity after years of nails, hammers, concussions,

building and tearing down.

Is it important to you for your equipment to portray a  professional appearance,

impress your clients and instil confidence in your company and expertise?

Your racks are your show. You know that they need to perform many duties.

This is of paramount importance to us at Fx Worx.

After a lengthy pet project by Mark Rice, his design for his new racks has been realized.

Mark’s approach to our productions is safety first, organization, time management,

attention to detail, professional appearance, ease and efficient storage, consistency and of course cost.

He has translated these values to the design of his new racks.

The manufacturing steps

Key elements are drawn up in AutoCad and are spaced to Mark’s design.

Fine tuning is done in the various parts in autocad, using digital calipers to measure the

exact thickness of the  plywood, and behind adding details to the drawing such as alignment fingers,

dados, pilot holes, labels etc that will allow anyone to assembled these units without instruction.

-When the AutoCad file is done with all parts aligned on a 4×8 sheet,

this file is then sent to a program called Vectric Aspire.

-Vectric Aspire is the software used to program the various CNC cutting paths

required to communicate to our computer controlled router ( CNC Machine)

-Vectric will also allow us to preview the cut parts to check for any programing issues

prior to the machine cutting

-Once we are happy with the vectric file, the programming file is sent to the CNC machine for cutting

-CNC cuts the ply, we test fit, and then it is assembled using glue and screws.

For you, the guess work has been removed from the manufacturing stage,

the racks come to you packed flat on skids for ease of transportation.

You only need to assemble. Screws and eyelets are included with the kits.   Assembly time: 19 min.

Mark has taken every detail into account when designing these racks.
